Our Faculty: Rose DiSanto

Rose DiSanto, principal of DiSanto Design, is a Designer, Art Director, Illustrator and Summer Camp Counselor. Rose’s design career began in 1983 and spans from Heller Breene Advertising & Design in Boston—where she was Vice President and Associate Design Director—to her own company, DiSanto Design—where she is Principal and Creative Director.

Although her client roster includes Fortune 500 names like Apple Computer, Laura Ashley and Reebok, Rose’s passion tends to be in the areas of children’s services, education and the arts. Specializing in collateral and print advertising design, she has been hired by global and local companies including The American Cancer Society, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Harvard University, Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Keith Lockhart & The Boston Pops Orchestra, New England Conservatory of Music, and The Steppingstone Foundation, to name a few.

Rose’s work has won many awards including The Advertising Club of Greater Boston, American Corporate Identity, Communication Arts Magazine, The New York Art Director’s Club, Graphis, Print Magazine, and The Philadelphia Ad Club. She continues to be involved in her community, serving on the Education Committee of AIGA Philadelphia where she founded the first mentorship program in the city’s design community. And since 1989, Rose has volunteered as a summer camp counselor at Paul Newman’s The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp in Connecticut. Rose holds a degree in Visual Communications from the University of Delaware and a Masters in Education from Harvard University. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband (except for the month of July, when she’s usually covered with paint in the arts and crafts studio at camp).
