I believe that we getting there in terms of providing our students with tools that will be useful for quite some time. At Philadelphia University a groundbreaking curriculum has been designed to help students learn to integrate knowledge, develop more sophisticated decision-making skills, and untangle complex problems. Our graduates can create new knowledge that will be of commercial value to themselves and their future businesses. The Nexus Learning approach differentiates our graduates as they “can help create progress, not merely keep up with it”. This approach is a response to industry calls where the competitive advantage has been based on the exploitation of distinctive, business-specific knowledge.
Nexus Learning teaching approach requires students to construct knowledge by engaging collaboratively with industry sponsored projects. It is hypothesized that this teaching method is more effective than traditional didactic approaches in developing innovative thinking, knowledge creation capacity, and professional skills. It meets the emerging needs of industry to develop managers, designers, and engineers into more accomplished practitioners in the global economy.

Tyler seemed to have a person who has a high awareness of the people in Vietnam. With a pretty special way of teaching him to work. May he reap goodness of what they do.

Pursuing a degree at Philadelphia University should be thought of as what it really is: an investment, or a path to an innovative career which can yield enormous dividends. To get it right at high school level, it will require a measure of trust in degree at PhilaU and its innovative curriculum, whether it is business models class or industry sponsored project class, it will get you there. And it will open so many new doors for you. Don't wait - come aboard - and innovate!

As an important element of developing and inspiring a realistic career direction and passion based on a sound goal would be to make students aware of appropriate segments of our economy or professions which are growing and offer opportunities. To develop this information perhaps there could be graduate student market research studies or theses on studying the U.S. as well as international job market the results of which are annually provided or made available to interested students. For instance there appears to be a major need for product and marketing specialists in the area of environmentally friendly products evolving from new small entreuprenrial ventures being launched based on new technologies coming out of university and corporate research.

Dr. Spinelli,
I have enjoyed discussions with D.R. Widder. Entrepreneuralism is empowering people to imagine the possibilities and to collaborate with like minded individuals. It is an extension of creative problem solving. The passion for a new idea can only lead to reflective excitement about possibilities.

Great blog.

OMG, it is still accepting donations! Fantastic example of a creative fundraising effort that raised $10,000 in 48 hours to build a classroom at the school in Tanzania.
