PhilaU to Promote Entrepreneurship through Blackstone Launchpad: Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Inquirer

The Blackstone Charitable Foundation announced Dec. 3 that it will give $3 million to set up Blackstone Launchpad entrepreneurship training centers at Philadelphia University and Temple University, reported the Philadelphia Business Journal and Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Launchpad replicates a successful program set up at the University of Miami in 2008 that encourages entrepreneurship among current students and alumni, helping to teach, encourage and inspire the next generation of job creators.
