Philadelphia University received three awards in the 28th annual Educational Advertising Awards for exhibiting innovation, creativity and professionalism in the field of educational marketing and advertising, including “Best of Show” for the University’s Nexus Learning video, first shown at the 2012 Evening of Innovation.

The winning entries were created by Public Relations, Admissions and Creative Communication Associates. Nearly 3,000 entries were received by more than 1,000 universities, colleges and secondary schools from across the nation and abroad, making this competition the largest of its kind in the United States.
“We are very proud to be recognized in the Educational Advertising Awards,” said Pat Baldridge, vice president of marketing and public relations. “These awards are a testament to Philadelphia University’s vision and message. Nexus Learning is more than a video or a brochure. It’s a way of teaching and learning that is transforming higher education.”
Out of the more than 1,000 institutions to enter the competition, only Philadelphia University and 17 other institutions were recognized by the judges as “Best of Show.” Gold awards were presented to 267 institutions.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a panel of respected marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report, a leading educational marketing publication.
