Group M Gallery Features Associate Professor Jack Carnell’s Photographs

Associate Professor of Photography and Architectural Studies Jack Carnell has an exhibit featuring 12 color photographs of county seats and courthouse squares on display at Gallery M in Philadelphia through Nov. 15. The exhibit, “Requiem for the Courthouse Square,” includes work that was supported by a PhilaU Faculty Research, Scholarship and Practice-based Project Grant.

Carnell is the recipient of a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts grant. His work is part of the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Philadelphia Museum of Art; and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.
