Edward Keeter Named Construction Management Programs Director

Edward H. Keeter, Ph.D., is returning to Philadelphia University as program director for undergraduate and graduate construction management programs, effective Aug. 3, 2015.

Keeter, who served as founding director of the M.S. in Construction Management program from 2009-12, currently is associate clinical professor in Drexel University’s construction management program in the College of Engineering.

He will succeed Greg Lucado, who served as director of PhilaU’s construction management programs for four years. Lucado will continue to teach at PhilaU as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Architecture and the Built Environment.

Keeter has an exceptional record of professional and academic experience. His prior academic appointments include leading the Department of Construction Management at East Carolina University and serving as assistant professor at Central Connecticut State University.

Keeter previously served as vice president for administration at Skanska USA and as director of special projects at Clancy & Theys Construction Company.

He holds a Ph.D. in Construction Management from Texas A&M University, as well as a M.S. in Industrial Education and B.S. in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University.
