NJ Industrial Design Student Creates for Target: Courier Post

Anthony Maladra and three other industrial design seniors created back-to-school products now available in Target stores nationwide, the South Jersey Courier-Post reported July 30. Maladra, of Medford, N.J., designed a graphic pegboard that he said utilizes wall space to create more storage for students living in tight spaces. The four industrial design students, including Nick Friez, Chloe Muller and Sam Pawlak, designed the products for a studio course taught by faculty members Lyn Godley and Mike Leonard in collaboration with home products firm Umbra.
