PhilaU Student Kaitlin Johnson Goes on Guatamala Mission: Providence Journal

Sophomore Kaitlin Johnson spent part of winter break building homes for destitute residents living near a Guatamala dump, the Providence Journal reported Jan. 1. Johnson, an interior design major who went on the mission with her family, told the Journal that she noticed how open the people were and “how much they loved to share. … A kid would sit down with my parents and put their arm around them. They were not afraid to be close, and not as guarded.”
