Textile Design Alumna Betsy Olmsted Finds Success With Surging Colors: Susquehanna Style

betsy olmstedBetsy Olmsted, who received her master’s in textile design at PhilaU, has found success through her use of surging colors and organic, intuitive approach, noted a profile in the May 2016 issue of Susquehanna Style.

Olmsted, who designs such things as scarves, pillow and tea towels for clients including Anthropologie, West Elm and Land of Nod, said she started her own firm to balance her work and family life. Her book, “Hand-Printing Studio: A Visual Guide to Printing on Almost Anything,” will be published next month.
