Do your holiday shopping on campus next Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the annual pop-up shop featuring handcrafted merchandise made by PhilaU fashion merchandising and management students.
The items, including distressed and hand-painted denim jackets, throw pillows, trendy clutches, chic kimonos, vintage chokers and patch sweatshirts, will cost from $15 to $30.
All proceeds from the shop will benefit ChemoClothes, a South Jersey nonprofit that helps families affected by cancer. To date, more than $30,000 has been donated to the charity from previous PhilaU pop-up shops.
In addition to making the merchandise, about 200 students—enrolled in global fashion insight, retail strategy and structure, and visual merchandising courses—organized and styled the pop-up shop, with oversight from faculty members.
The pop-up shop will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Kanbar Performance Space.
