Jefferson CEO, President Klasko on Disrupting Higher Education and Healthcare: Philadelphia Magazine

Stephen Klasko, MD, MBA, president and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health, discussed the recent merger of Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University and how it will improve the value proposition for students in a wide-ranging interview with Philadelphia magazine Aug. 31.

The biggest disrupters in higher education, he said, will be those “who will figure out how to teach millennials the way they learn for less money. We’ll need to create and define value for their tuition dollars to be charged. It’s a big reason why we merged with Philadelphia University.”
