Surface Imaging and Global Fashion Students Create Innovative Prints: Printing News

Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) surface imaging and global fashion enterprise students collaborated on a project sponsored by Mimaki USA to develop creative uses for printing on a variety of substrates, including fabrics, textiles, and materials, Printing News reported Sept. 1.

The students experimented with a variety of printing processes, including UV, dye sublimation and acid. Hitoshi Ujiee, director of Jefferson’s Center for Surface Imaging, and surface imaging graduate student Natasha Kovacevic were featured in the article.
