University Inducts 31 Students Into Honor Society for First-Year Success

Alpha Lambda Delta honors high academic achievement in the first year of college for both freshmen and new transfer students.

The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) East Falls chapter of the Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) national honor society for first-year success inducted 31 students into its ninth cohort. Inductees and their family members and friends attended the Oct. 28 ceremony in the Kanbar Campus Center.

ALD honors high academic achievement in the first year of college for both freshmen and new transfer students, as well promotes intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning and assists students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society. The East Falls chapter of ALD was founded in 2010, and the society has 275 chapters around the country.

This year’s inductees include Kendra Ackerman, Hibah Ahmed, Brittany Bernath, Hannah Bloom, Alexis Cao, Kimberley Caruso, Katelyn Chobanoff, Madisyn Davis, Danielle Dillenbeck, Emily Ditro, Alessandra Filippone, Shawn Johnson, Brooke Kaplan, Sonali Koduri, Sejal Lakhani, Alexis Lessley, Hafiz Lujain, Lauren Mehr, Emily Miller, Noelani Montas, Brooke Pakech, Tara Phifer, Jessica Radomski, Nicoletta Rudi, Owen Sacco, Kasey Schlupp, Aryana Shah, Chloe Smith, Caroline Tuman and Julia Wazeter.
