Jefferson Researchers Find Hot Coffee May Be Better For Your Health: Philadelphia Inquirer, Nutrition Insight

Jefferson chemistry researchers Niny Rao, PhD, and Megan Fuller, PhD, found that hot coffee has more healthful antioxidants than cold-brew coffee, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Nutrition Insight reported Nov. 6.

In the study published Oct. 30, the researchers also found that pH levels– a measure of acidity–are similar for the two brewing methods, so cold-brew  may not be any easier on the stomach for coffee enthusiasts.
