The conference planning committee is requesting submissions for 90-minute workshop sessions. Proposals should focus on one of the primary aims of the conference (1) Prevent incidences of childhood trauma; (2) Mitigate the impacts of trauma exposure across the lifespan; and (3) Prevent vicarious trauma and support a stable, healthy workforce. Sessions must be congruent with the conference theme and have implications for community-based trauma-focused work. The conference aims to enhance competencies in interprofessional practice. Sessions that have an interprofessional focus are strongly encouraged. Presenters will be asked to identify if their workshop proposal best fits programming for (1) providers seeking advanced trauma competencies and knowledge, (2) participants seeking foundational trauma training, or (3) community and family members.
